Boxing Wags Association event
Los Angeles, California Aug 31, 2021 (Issuewire.com) – The Boxing Wags Association, founded by Telli Swift, hosted their fifth charity event back in July on Saturday 10th with this year’s mission to raise money to support autism awareness. The foundation worked closely with Brighter Future Charity, a non-profit organisation devoted to enriching and empowering the lives of the families and adults suffering from autism in the community. The BWA association is a not-for-profit organisation composed of a diverse range of talented wives and girlfriends of professional boxers. The mission of the charity is to support and enhance the quality of life for families in the community.
Telli Swift, the founder of the BWA, is a mother, television personality, podcaster, entrepreneur, and engaged to American professional boxer, Deontay Wilder. The foundation held its latest event which was celebrated at Neft Vodka Lounge on July 10th featuring an array of A-list celebrities and wonderful sponsors.
In the midst of last year, Telli and BWA helped those affected by COVID-19 by purchasing 500 reusable masks and 35,000 gloves to support health care workers, frontline workers, and medical employees. They set up an approach to get more donations by implementing a program where when you buy a mask, they donate a mask to someone who needs one. This is one of the many things the talent team at BWA does to help the community.
For this year’s event, Telli lined up an amazing list of items that were auctioned to help raise money for Brighter Future Charity. We are thrilled to announce that they raised $25,000 on the night.
We would love to thank our sponsors of the night.
