The new service allows families to build and share the life stories of their loved ones and ensure special memories don’t get lost over time. Phone recordings are saved securely on their profile and can be accompanied by photos, videos, and additional text.

With the latest move, Storii aims to provide a robust and simple way to capture stories and keep cherished memories alive for parents, children, and grandchildren to cherish. The service can be used to create private memories or build a library that can be shared among friends and family members.
The system leverages curated telephone prompts to encourage call recipients to share their stories and memories. With a database of hundreds of meaningful life story questions, and the ability to create custom sets, audio diaries and memoirs can be made for personal enjoyment or to give as a gift.
In addition to creating gifts and audio memories, it can be used as a companion for those who find it difficult to visit elderly relatives in person. By storing real-time updates of activities and stories, it connects care home residents to family members around the world.
Integrated features enhance this experience, such as text message alerts when a new question has been answered. When responses are created, shared links allow anyone to access the answers and join in the collaborative memoir creation process.
Storii was founded by Cameron Graham, who got the idea for the company when hospitalized next to Peter, an elderly man with dementia. When Peter’s granddaughter visited, the impact of family photos and memories was clear. Cameron sought a way to harness storytelling in a way that families around the world could enjoy, not matter their technology experience.
A spokesperson states: “Sitting in his hospital bed passing time on an iPad, Cameron felt there must be a tool to help Peter reconnect with both his past and his present. After researching existing products and finding them ineffective, he decided to create something new – and with that, Storii was born.”
